Help Therapeutics successfully forged collaboration with Professor Philippe Menasché, an internationally renewed cardiac surgeon and pioneer of stem cell therapy. As clinical collaborator and advisor, Professor Menasché will support the technology research, product development and clinical study of HELP Therapeutics to accelerate “bench-to-bedside” translation of stem cell therapy.

Prof. Menasché is currently Professor of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery at the University of Paris Descartes, Chief of the Heart Failure Surgery Unit of the Hôpital Européen Georges Pompidou and Director of an INSERM (National Institute of Health and Medical Research) laboratory devoted to cell therapy of cardiovascular diseases.

In 2014, Prof. Menasché completed the World’s first clinical study utilizing human pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes to treat severe heart failure. This milestone achievement not only demonstrated the feasibility and clinical potential of cell therapy, but also encouraged many to devote themselves into regenerative medicine, including us. We are grateful that Prof. Menasché decided to join our endeavor and we look forward to collaborating with Prof. Menasché in the coming years!
